Indervidual and group supervision

I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor who offers individual and group supervision to professionals ranging from students in training, support workers and counsellors.

I have worked for and also facilitate group supervision throughout the Leicestershire and Loughborough area for the following organisations:

Health Assured
Blatchford NHS
Leicester Rape Crisis
LCIL (Leicestershire Centre for Integrated Living)
LGBT (Leicester Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Centre)
Mosaic (Shaping Disability Services)

Our role of a Counsellor, Psychotherapist or support worker can be demanding and overwhelming at times, so I feel it is important for supervision to be a place where you (the counsellor) can be real and whole. I want to hear about your successes, but I feel it is equally important for you to be able to talk openly about where you have struggled with a client – this can bring out a richness where you learn more about the client, yourself and your future counselling work.

Individual and Group Supervision

My aim in supervision to create a relationship that is supportive, caring, non-judgemental and when necessary challenging, I have found that this allows for the most growth in supervisee's where we can explore, understand and gain perspective on your work, for the benefit of you and your clients.

Holding a Diploma in Supervision Studies I have gained knowledge and experience through my training and my placement provider at Just Services of Leicester.  I provide practical, ethical and personal support to counsellors and support workers in the management of their practice.

We work together to manage the case load, professional development and the ethical difficulties that will arise in the work that we do.
